NATREG project in Brussels identified as one of the good practices

At the 11th meeting of CGBN on the 15th of November 2011 DG Regio presented the Cohesion policy in the next EU finacial period 2014 – 2020. The topic of Agenda 2 of the meeting was Funding opportunities for biodiversity and nature in the 2014-2020 EU funding regulations. DG Regio presented the present Cohesion policy and four project good examples which were implemented trough this period. One of the good examples which was mentioned was also NATREG project (see the ppt).

NATREG project team is glad that the NATREG project and its results were taken as a good example on how to integrate development and biodiversity conservation towards the new EU perspective.
