About the organisation:
AGNATURE was established in 1997 and has two employees. Its mission is protection, maintenance and promotion of protected natural values in the area of the Koprivnica-Križevci County. Organisation works mostly on:
- Enforcement of protective measures for the protected parts of nature;
- Implementation of procedures for the declaration of the legal protection of valuable parts of nature;
- Education about the protected areas of nature;
- Coordinating the use and the protection of protected parts of nature.
Public Institution will be in charge of analysing the problems with stakeholders in the pilot area and preparing the draft management plan of the pilot area. Activities in the Project:
- Coordination of the analysis of problems related to stakeholders;
- Preparation of draft management plan for the pilot area;
- Establishment of local networks for management of protected areas;
- Publication of articles in relevant media;
- Work with stakeholders.
